Enhanced Safety Functions
Despite its small footprint, the Dräger Fabius Tiro® can be fitted with advanced options to boost safety and convenience, including fresh gas decoupling, dynamic compliance compensation, and backup ventilation for pressure support mode. The quick-start function supports manual ventilation when power is off, the ventilator is on standby, or upon power-up. In the event of central gas supply failure, the Fabius Tiro® also allows temporary continuation of automatic ventilation.
Designed for Confined Spaces
The Dräger Fabius Tiro® is ideal for spaces such as delivery suites, emergency departments and small operating rooms. Flexible mounting options allow the Fabius Tiro® to be wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted or installed on a highly mobile trolley, with large drawers for storing consumables and instruments.
Powerful and Precise Ventilation Without Driving Gas
The Fabius Tiro® features an electric e-vent ventilator, delivering ICU-grade performance without the need for driving gas. Thanks to its highly precise piston ventilation, the unit is well-suited for pediatric patients. The compact breathing system (COSY), designed for low-flow anesthesia, consists of minimal components and can be quickly disassembled for cleaning. Furthermore, the Fabius Tiro® is compatible with CLIC absorbers.
Comprehensive Information Management
The Dräger Fabius Tiro® is equipped with a high-definition screen, a digital fresh gas display, and an additional mechanical gas flow tube for measuring total gas flow. It presents clear and comprehensive status information based on numerous relevant parameters. Data can be exported to external monitors or transferred to a Patient Data Management System (PDMS) for further analysis.
Modular Open Architecture
The modular design enables the Fabius Tiro® to be configured with various accessories. Whether haemodynamic monitoring, gas monitoring or spirometry, the Fabius Tiro® can be expanded as required. It can also be integrated into hospital information systems.
