OPESCOPE ACTENO is a new‑generation mobile C‑arm X‑ray system developed and manufactured by Shimadzu. It supports a wide range of clinical surgical procedures and is mainly designed for orthopedic and general surgery.
Main Features
Built‑in cable design for easy cleaning and disinfection; electromagnetic lock keeps the C‑arm clean.
Membrane keys across the full‑operation panel are dust‑proof and water‑proof, easy to clean and disinfect to meet strict sterile requirements in operating rooms.
Independent electromagnetic locks enable the C‑arm to be locked at any position during movement for fast and precise positioning. The fully balanced C‑arm system guarantees smooth and steady movement in all directions.
Large‑size casters with dual‑wheel reverse‑rolling design for lighter and easier manipulation.
Memory key function: Many surgeries (e.g. fracture reduction, puncture) require frequent switching between fixed anteroposterior and lateral fluoroscopy positions. The memory key recalls identical CCD rotation angles, collimator settings and exposure parameters with one touch. This is highly valuable for cases such as sub‑femoral‑neck fractures requiring repeated identical projection angles. It significantly shortens examination time and improves workflow efficiency.
Touch Focus Function
Traditional workflow sets a fixed ROI at the image center to optimize X‑ray exposure for proper brightness. When the target anatomy moves away from this ROI, exposure parameters become mismatched, and the region of interest may fade out on screen — especially for small structures like the wrist joint during dynamic observation.
OPESCOPE ACTENO features the innovative Touch Focus function of great clinical value. While viewing live C‑arm fluoroscopy, operators tap directly on the real‑time image to instantly adjust equipment parameters and achieve optimal image quality for the selected region‑of‑interest.
It delivers real‑time high‑definition fluoroscopic images during surgery. Digital sequential radiography is supported; images can be transmitted, archived and post‑processed via PACS.
