Dilon 6800 — Dedicated Breast Gamma Camera
Dilon’s patented design integrates high‑resolution imaging technology compactly within a 6”×8”×4” detector unit. The adjustable detector plate makes direct contact with the breast and ribcage, and rotates in all directions to capture optimal standard breast images. Its innovative gamma‑ray shield uniformly outlines the breast contour, minimizing transmission interference and scatter signals from adjacent organs. It improves lesion contrast and enables detection of early‑stage lesions as small as 3 mm.
The Dilon 6800 delivers superior overall imaging sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value and positive predictive value compared with mammography, ultrasound and MRI. Its high negative predictive value greatly reduces the risk of missed breast cancer diagnoses. Additionally, it can be applied for differentiation, localization and evaluation of benign and malignant thyroid lesions.
